Team 3361: The Governators
2014 FIRST Lego League Tournament
On Saturday, November 22, 2014, Team 3361 set up concessions at the FIRST Lego League Tournament. We sold bagels, pancakes, and coffee for breakfast and pizza, chips, and soda for lunch. Once the kids got a lunch break, we had a huge line of students, and we sold out of pizza. At the end of the day, we raised over $700 for our robotics team.
However, the day was not about us. We showcased last year's robot, talked with Lego League members, and handed out brochures to inform the junior engineers about where they can go after FLL. We made a large poster for the children to sign or color on and used it to thank those that allowed us to sell concessions.
